Today’s Takeaway from Free Virtual Coffeeshop Group Coaching – via ZOOM – 09 January 2022 is:

“Animals behave in set patterns, which is why we are able to hunt and kill them. Only man has the capacity to consciously alter his behavior, to improvise and overcome the weight of routine and habit.”

Robert Greene

In today’s coffee shop coaching, we addressed the recurring topic of handling our worries and stressors by finding balance. Making significant changes in the ways we address issues can make a big difference in how we feel about them. The new year gives us an occasion to change some of the ways we manage our daily challenges. Establishing patterns and introducing them into our daily routines can be helpful in coping with stressors and finding balance. However, patterns can also lead us to get stuck in routines. The path to finding balance, and in consequence peace, leads through awareness about our patterns and routines. Knowing what we are doing, the purpose behind our activity, and who we are doing it for is essential for utilizing patterns positively and creatively. Making conscious decisions about our patterns in the new year can be a very productive way of using the occasion of the new year.
