Today’s Takeaway from Free Virtual Coffeeshop Group Coaching – via ZOOM – 06 March 2022 is:
“We have to get used to the idea that at the most important crossroads in our life there are no signs.”Ernest Hemingway
In today’s coffee shop coaching, we explored crossroads in our lives and questioned the best ways of making decisions on the way forward. New perspectives opened ways of how previous choices and other prior experiences can help us make informed decisions today. In one way or another, our choices are knowingly or unknowingly always influenced by our values. Experiences and choices are not necessarily in themselves good or bad; they are just that, experiences. If we look at what we have experienced in life and the choices we have made in the light of our values while conscious of our values, every experience can contribute to building up a better basis for decision making, including intuition-based decision making. Bad or boring job experiences, unsuccessful job applications can always contribute to our treasure of knowledge and wisdom and thus guide us into a more fulfilled work life in the future. The same can be applied to our personal lives. The basis is to have a good understanding of what our values are. Coaching is a precious tool to guide us towards understanding our own values, use more integrity in our decision-making process, and connect with what drives us forward.
