Today’s Takeaway from Free Virtual Coffeeshop Group Coaching – via ZOOM – 05 June 2022 is:

“Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.”

John Lennon

Today’s Coffeeshop Coaching focused around looking back at what skills and abilities we developed and which ones we let go of to get where we are today. We addressed how a new life situation, be it a new job or living in a new location, can destabilize us by removing the conditions that gave us comfort. It feels like the roots that gave us both stability and nourishment are being taken away by the new surroundings or employment. However, many times when we look from our momentary perspective at a situation, the bittersweet emotions can become blurred, and what we think we are perceiving can be very misleading. Have we truly lost or given up the roots that provided us with stability?

Sometimes it helps to pause and look at the experiences we have had in our lives, the qualifications we have acquired, and all the knowledge we have. These qualifications, experiences, and knowledge create a basis that is equivalent to the roots that we believe we are giving up. Yet, most likely, we have a system of stability that is just as capable of providing us with balance, strength, and stability as the system we believe we lost.

Questions from today’s coaching:

  • By saying “NO,” what am I saying “YES” too?
  • Which two elements generate more quality and less quantity in all my relationships, connections, and experiences?
  • How can I bring more fun and lightness into every moment of my day?
